Title: Found cat, Greater Manchester
Post by: JackSpratt on December 17, 2013, 10:49:10 AM
This rather lovely little one appeared at a home in Greater Manchester last Wednesday (11/12/13). No microchip was present. The people caring for the cat wanted to ensure the image was circulated to try and find out if the cat is being missed by anyone but understandably, don't want to give too much detail out on a general post. So if anyone thinks they may know of any owners, please PM so I can pass on contact information of the people currently taking on the carer role.

Ooooh s/he is gorgeous.  I would check on the National Pet Register to see lost.

If they can't find owners are they willing to offer him/her a home?

Looks like a young 'un, JS.  Very bonny little cat.

Gorgeous cat  :Luv2: reminds me of one of my bridge babies, Pickle. Hope the owners can be found.

Yup, not very old really at all. The gender is being kept rather less publicised; if anyone has lost this little one they'll know what sex they are. ;)

I can't believe someone isn't missing this one .... the most perfect mackerel tabby I have seen for years.   :Luv2:

Sorry, Sam - missed your question. Yes, the people caring for the cat are happy to offer a home if needed. They've actually already "done the necessary" in terms of chipping and the op.

They have five other rescue cats and this little one is practically identical to one of their other residents!

I'm pleased that the cat has a home if the original owners aren't found and that they've already done the right thing in chipping etc. :-) It is a beauty.

So pleased little one has a home with the finders if s/he isn't reunited with original owners.
