Title: Happy thoughts for my Licky and his operation

Licky has been grinding his teeth and gagging all weekend so he is going vets this morning. I believe he has a bad tooth and seems in a ton of pain. I am totally worried that he wont pull through. He is 15years old, overactive thyroid and a heart condition. I guess i am just looking for words of comfort and ideas for food. He wants to eat but it is causing him great pain. Ive managed to hand feel him piece of ham but any kind of licking he will refuse. I hate seeing him this way. He seems fine in himself but he is starting to stress around food and lose weight. Please to strong and brace Licky. We got your thyroid stable solets get through this. Gonna be heart broken if he doesnt as he is the first cat to truly pick me. He wont come in the house until he knows i am home from work and generally i am his pet. Happy thoughts. Xxxx

He didnt have ot in the end (thank god) but he might in the end. His gums were so swollen that you couldnt see his teeth and he was running a temp. So he is on steds and penicillin for a week. We have seen a total difference in one day. Fingers crossed his teeth underneath are ok and it is just an infection. The vet said she would not be happy putting him under as he is on the wrong side of the chance he wont wake up. Licky has ate loads of food and put all his weight back on in two days. :) proud! X
