Just spent 1/2 hour getting Billy to agree to a grooming and whilst he was enjoying it I grabbed the poor little beggar and shoved him into to top opening cat carrier, sustaining usual injuries. I rang vet and asked if someone could apply the frontline as usual if I whisked him up there (need more frontline anyway) but seems they are just too busy (go figure, would have taken someone 10 secs?) anyway that meant I HAD to do it myself and
I DID IT DESPITE MY LITTLE FIGHTER :boxer:
Am now sorting out antisceptic wipes for my injuries but feel like I've achieved something.

Congrats Rosella! :1st place:
Would you save injuries doing it while your grooming? A mean trick hee hee :shify:
-
Thanks Milly's Mum. I feel quite proud of myself.
Whenever I apply frontline, it takes about 3 squirts to get it all out the pipette. I've just assumed that I stood no chance of squirting 2nd and 3rd time, unless he is hemmed in somehow, so would only get to apply just over say half of contents of pipette . If only I could get to explain the reasons why he needs to have flea treatment to him, I know he would play ball as he is such a sensible little fella but, wadda ya dooo? He doesn't attack; just panics poor lad.
Vet of course just grabs him by the scruff of the neck and Billy melts into submission but not with me lol

I am sure Sasa wouldnt hurt you but you would have to catch her and she too fast for me
-
Aaah bless Madam Sasa. What do you do about flea treatment then Gill?
-
They must smell it !!!
I can be stroking them but the min i go near them with the opened frontline in my hand they go mad.
I am sure most of it goes all over their fur rather than on their necks
