Title: Goodbye 'Beans'
Post by: Lyn (Slugsta) on September 20, 2013, 19:19:34 PM
Beans (Sabrina) was not my cat, but she has been a big part of my life for all of her 15 years as her human slaves are my best friends. After a short illness, Beans was gently helped across the bridge today, whilst being held in the arms of someone who loves her very much - what more could any of us ask?

Goodbye darling, I know there are lots of deeply missed cats waiting to meet you on the other side.

So sorry, RIP Beans, 15 years is a pretty good innings, but am sure it doesn't ease the loss

Beans was actually a pet name for 'Sabrina', a beautiful long-hared black girl. The family are heart-broken even though the other 3 felines are on hand with cuddles.

My own lovely Chivers and Punky would have been on hand to escort her across the bridge, along with other cats that my friends have loved over the years.

I was very honoured to be allowed to go and spend a little time saying 'goodbye' the previous day and I'm sure my friend and I will share a few tears when we meet up tomorrow.
