Title: Jasper, RIP

Had to say goodbye to Jasper yesterday, he'd been ailing for a while, losing weight and not eating.  Yesterday he could hardly raise his head so I took him to the vet who agreed he'd come to the end of the road.  He'd probably got cancer but so far gone it would have been too distressing for him to have useless treatment.  I saw him quietly on his way then gave my own cats and the foster kittens extra hugs when I got home.   There's a fat black furry absence in my home and my heart.
