Title: RIP MY LITTLE BABIES

Picked up two little babies on Sunday, the last of a litter of six, the other four having perished.  Lost the first one Sunday evening but the other little precious seemed to be fighting back.  Stayed up 72 hours feeding every 2 hours but we both lost the battle yesterday morning.

I always feel such a failure when I lose them, though I know deep in my heart that the odds were stacked against them from the start.  They will join the Eight Lives Left Kitten Roll of Honour at home and join all my babes waiting for me at the Bridge, what a reunion that is going to be.

Sorry to hear the sad news, I'm sure you did everything you could for them.  At least they had love and kindness for their last days  :hug:

Lesley, I'm so sorry hun, you can only do your best like you always do  :'(  :'( Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, these little one's are not meant to make it but at least they were surrounded by love and warmth at the end  :hug:

So sorry to hear this, you aren't a failure though, you gave them a chance, but sadly these were too precious and god wanted them back. At least thanks to you they had love and care for a short time, RIP little ones and big hug to you.

Lesley, although the kittens had short lives they knew nothing but positive emotions. That in itself is not a failure.

You did the best you could and you should be proud that you tried.
