Title: Where does Robbie go??
Post by: Stuart on July 23, 2013, 06:55:21 AM
We've had Robbie for 1year and 7months now, a former stray that now stays with us, but he does his own thing and will disappear the whole day
returning in the evening for something to eat, and sleep..

I was always curious as to where he was going so I bought a G-paws tracking device, he went out on the 21st wearing it and when he came back
I was joking with My OH that he has probably been sleeping in next door neighbours garden  :evillaugh: how wrong I was

Blimey Robbie!  You get about a bit kid

Don't think I want to know about our lot Stuart  :scared:

It would be great to get a real time device one day.

Amazing.     Was he an entire Tom when he adopted you Stuart?  Old habits die hard as they say.  :shify:

I'm with you on that one Rosella.  I'd love to know where Biggles goes but if I found out that he went into the village rather than sticking to the fields I'd be a nervous wreck.

Yes Rosella, I don't like the way he crosses the road at the front, it can be busy at times  :scared:
Dawn, and to think I thought he would go 2/3 gardens away max, brill technology, but if it gets lost, you won't
get it back, you need it to plug into the pc to get the info
Carol, Robbie was an entire Tom for a long time ( that's what the vet told me, and it explains why he is big ) I
also see him actually spraying, I had a conversation with my neighbour because she said she saw Robbie spraying,
I told her that Robbie doesn't do that coz he is neutered!! didn't think they could do that once sorted??

next plan is the eyenimal videocam  :wow: only concern is I don't like using the elastic collars  :scared:

doesn't stop them spraying but neutering early can stop them getting into the habit, even girls can spray

crikey - that's some territory!    I think I'm the same Stuart - don't know if I would rest if I saw where our two get to.  But very interesting to see the range nontheless.

Yes, spraying is very much a territorial thing, and happens whether or not they're neutered, or male and female.  It just tends to smell less noticeable to us when they're neutered.
