Muesli and Mozart are sadly still with me :(
They are both beautiful boys who have had a rough start in life. Appox 3 years old - they are neutered, vaccs, microchipped, etc - they are shy but will come round in time (they're used to me!) they are not aggressive but would be best in an adult only home - they will need to be kept indoors for at least 8 weeks as they have never been outside before - I am getting very unhappy that they're still with me- they need their own home - and I'm sure in time they will make lovely pets.
If you can give these fellas a home please email me or have a look at our website www.anim-mates.org.uk
Thanks!

They are so gorgeous and the black one looks much younger ;D
I hope they get a home soon.
-
awww they r so cute i cant understand why theyve not been snapped up
i hope they will get there "forever" home real soon :Luv:

Lisa, being black/b+w and nervy goes against them, its sad but people are very fickle :(
A nervy torti would be chosen much quicker, :P :P to all the fickle people, they miss out on the lovliest of cats.
-
Agree completely there MM.
-
Yep people are fickle - and all the fosters I have at the moment are black or black/white!! Black cats are my favourites though - have one of my own, plus a black/white and a dilute tortie - people are strange!
-
I have a black/white who has been here 7 weeks tomorrow, think it is the longest a foster has been here this year (except Lucy who isn't on the list yet) - I hope the latest b/w wont be here that long, bless her!! I do have a suspicion that Pumpkin might go before Shabba. I have to say that black and whites aren't a colour I would go looking for, but I have had some truly stunning ones - I prefer the ones that are mainly black, but that is cos I have an incredible soft spot for pure blacks.
-
I love the black/ black n white cats, I personally think my grey cat is the odd one in my cat family.

hi there
i have just been on your website and seen lily and you only have one kitten left if that ok will we have them as well
shane :)

Hi Shane - do I understand you right, you want some 'mousers' for your friend's farm, which also has a number of dogs? It simply wouldn't be fair on house kittens to bring them there (and they wouldn't be any use for that anyway). You should talk to your local rescue about the possibility of a (neutered) feral colony if that is the case...
Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
NB I have posted the same reply on your thread 'I am looking for some kittens'.

hi there
yer i am wonting them for my mates farm so you are sayin no to kittens what about full grown adult cats then
please message back

Shane these as rescue animals and Im sorry but I dont think what you are describing would be a good enviroment for a cat OR kitten that has been rescued. You cant just say I WILL HAVE THEM AS WELL >:( as said before go to your local rescue centre and ask about ferel cats THEY DO HOME CHECKS
-
hi there
i do not see what the prob is with that but all i can say is you dont wont to rehome your cats or kittens that much will let people know about as well

Shane, it may help if you make things clearer. Looking at what you've posted, it seems you want cats to be put in a situation that may be alien to them just so you can check the dogs responses out. Not all cats like dogs and vice versa........the cats could be in danger of being killed and no rescue is going to risk homing a cat to that environment, not because we don't want to home our cats and kittens, but because we love them and we want the best for them..........putting them at risk would be totally irresponsible and surely even you can see that. Just out of interest, how do you propose introducing the cats/kittens to these dogs? It doesn't sound to me as if you have any experience and even if you have the cats' interest at heart, it could end up in disastrous consequences.
-
Shane, they aren't saying they don't want to rehome - they're saying they want to rehome to the RIGHT home. Noone's saying your friend shouldn't get cats to roam free on his farm, they're saying you should actively seek ones that like that way of life.
And a valid point was made with regards to homechecks. All rescues check the environment an animal is going to these days.
Hopefully, these two sweethearts will find the right home and Shane will find the right colony!

I think we need to know exactly what his intentions are with these cats before rehoming is considered.....if they are for ratting, fair enough but if they are for testing the dogs with, then a better option would be to rehome the dogs and stating, they haven't been tried with cats.

Purrfect reply.
