Kyle came to me as a stray through the vet where my sister worked in May 2005.  He was suffering with very bad sun burnt ears but the vets decided to operate and give him a chance.  When he came to me he was thin, had been shaved due to his matted condition and had part of both his ears removed.  He was my special little boy and I loved him very much.  He looked like a little old teddy bear and was a real cuddly lap cat and wherever I was around the house he would be by my feet and he always had more than at least half the bed at night.  Although he was very wary of other people he became my shadow and there was nothing he liked more than snuggling up on my lap for a cuddle.  After about 3 months he suffered with an ear infection, we had numerous visits to the vet for treatment but nothing made it any better.  On 10 November 2005 the vet discovered Kyle had ear cancer.  It was too advanced to be treated and I had no choice but to let my baby go to sleep.  Although it broke my heart I am glad I got to hold Kyle at the end and he passed over to Rainbow Bridge cuddled on my lap.

 

Although Kyle was only with me for a short time I miss him everyday.  He was and always will be my beautiful little boy.  I often tell Maisy and Tommy of the things he did and it makes me smile when I catch them doing something that reminds me of him.  I will always remember him and the joy and affection he gave me.

Oh Kyle you are so cute and you knew a loving human, even if it was for a short time.

I bet you are having such fun on the Bridge now, play hard.

kyle was gorgeous, it was sad that the vets missed it, but he got love and affection for the time he had with you.
