What part of Greece are you from?
My other love, besides cats, is the Greek islands.  :Luv: I've been visiting Kos since 2005 and the last couple of years I've been to Thassos. In fact I'm off to Thassos in June and to Kos in September  ;D

Oh these are just delightful - thanks Sheila - didn't see the link originally (doh!).

I love the way you've captured their most playful moments, Catz.  I don't have much success with videos - usually all I get are disappearing tails.  :evillaugh:

I hope to visit more islands Allison. I've never gone to Knossos. At summer generally it's nice because of the weather here..

I didn't knew Vocal, it's the first time i read about it.
Maybe because i google it and i found that their site was in English. But it's interesting, and good that it's voluntary.

It's true that here in Greece many people don't like cats and it's very sad to see too many homeless cats (or dead by cars).
It's very bad manner :(

Something relative to this, my cat Castrato was homeless, and my boyfriend rescue him at June 2012, and i'm happy for this cat.
I wish i could have more money to feed or rescue more homeless cats.
I think i talk much today  :shy:

Oh no, you definitely haven't talked too much  The more the better  :)

Ah yes, the cat problem in Greece  :( I adore the Greek islands but the situation with cats there is so upsetting. I've seen many things on my holidays that have made me very sad. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to do much to help apart from making donations to the various rescue centres.

I'm happy to hear that you rescued Castrato  :)

Indeed.. Yesterday with my boyfriend we found two little homeless kittens out of a church and was very scared (it was expected if you think that there are people that kicks cat because they found it funny!!:@ ,yes its sad but true) and  we give them some food for kittens that we bought and water.

Firstly we saw the one of the two kittens it was gray (tiger) and we was thinking that he was alone but later we saw the other kitten , probably was siblings. And when we put the food near to them the gray kitten gone after a while and we didn't saw him to eat.
When we saw the gray first , the fist think that we thought was to take him to our house but when we saw and his sister (maybe female) we thought that we could't took them two.

Oh what a shame  :( :(

Is there a rescue close to where you live?

Unfortunatelly there is no rescue organization here to can rescue cats. :(

When we found Castrato we post at a greek forum about cats if anyone wanted him, but they wanted to put at his arm a micro chip and take him some pics.
Finally we didn't know how to put him microchip and the photos of Castrato didn't like to members and admins because he was small, and they told us that "with these photos nobody wants him"  :(
So we keep Castrato at house! :Luv:
