I have lots of cat beds, some are more popular than others and some are used more often in winter than summer or vice versa but I think I have found the best cat bed in the world...ever!
Not only does it look ridiculously cute the boys love it! It's from Ikea (in the kids section as it's meant to be a dolls bed), it came with a dolls 'duvet' which I couldn't resist covering Riley up with :evillaugh: The 'mattress' is a B&M self heating bed folded over and it fits perfectly.

Unfortunately for him he seems to be a magnet for Riley as whenever he finds somewhere comfy to stretch out Riley hunts him down and joins him :evillaugh:

Amber does seem to like my bed when Im not in it and her bed at night rather than mine lol Im not sure if the twitches and kicks influence her but the wake me up. I happily snoozing then stretch hear a grunt or moan followed by a thud as she hits the floor

Yep, come to think of it it's any bed that Lu has decided to snuggle down in Riley clocks him and thinks 'ooh, that looks comfy I'll go and join him!' :naughty:

I do have another one that I haven't put together yet (bought two but only assembled one in case they ignored it so I could take the other one back!) - I'm thinking of making them into bunk beds :evillaugh:

Without further ado... may I present - the bunkbeds! :wow: There's the small matter of securing the beds together but I'm sure I can find some sort of metal bracket in B&Q that's just the job.
For now they are formulated as a superking bed, with that pesky crack that we've all experienced on holiday in hotel beds :evillaugh:

The MSCP (multi-storey cat park) is not in use yet as I need to get some sort of bracket to secure it but both beds were in use simultaneously for the first time today :wow: I did go to B&M after work to see if they had any more of the self-heating mats for the second bed but no such luck :shy:

Actually thats because it reminds me of family caravan holidays where bruv had top bunk and I as the younger had bottom bunk. I do remember if I put my feet on the bottom of the top bunk and puched hard he fell out :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

A pair? As you have more cats than me you should get three and do a triple bunk bed, or maybe even a quadruple :wow: They're in the kids section in a flat packed box...
I went to a different B&M tonight and got a second self-heating mat for the lower bunk :wow: RRP £3.99 - actual cost £31 odd due to the 'bargains' I picked up over the course of two different visits :evillaugh:
Got the brackets from B&Q, so may I proudly present... the bunkbeds ;D
Only Riley has used it so far but Lu was desperate to roadtest it WHILST I was putting it together! While I had the top one resting on the bottom one to mark out the holes he kept nudging the corners with his face doing cheek rubs :censored: Then the screws were toys he needed to poke at and tap away, then he was trying to get his nose under the hammer while I was trying to make pilot holes :censored: For such a sensitive boy who gives himself a fright when he sees a stray sock on the floor he doesn't even flinch with banging and drilling going on millimetres awat from him :Crazy:

I threw Lu's favourite toy to encourage him onto the bottom bunk but he looked at me like I was a fool, Riley peered over before hopping down to swat the toy off the bed :naughty:

I can't be the only one wanting to do this for myself. My only problem is having to go to Ikea in the first place (which I hate and haven't been in years) and then fearing that Sky would break it as she isn't very.....erm.....petite :)

Can't help with the Ikea phobia, only thing I can suggest is you plan your route and possibly cut out sections in doing so!
As for the not-so-petite Sky :shy: I actually think she'll be fine as the beds are very sturdy. Riley weighs at least 6kg and his weight isn't a problem, neither is surface area :naughty:
I'll await :need pics: of the finished article although probably best to use my tried and tested technique of building only one bed first to see if Robbie & Sky deem it a suitable resting place :evillaugh:

Dexter is :blow kiss: He just needs a bit of tippex to create a stripe on his nose to complete the look :naughty: We have another cat called Dexter on here too, although he's ginger, such a fab name ;D
