Title: I was ok till i found his xmas presents

ive been ill all day but went into the loft tonight to help dh bring our dd's presents down. i'd just picked up the last bag of her presents when barneys bag of presents fell over, seems unreal that me and dd were shopping for him two weeks ago, with no idea he wouldnt be here to enjoy them, i miss him so much. i miss him opening all the shut doors and sneaking upstairs to wake us up and nearly giving me a heart attack in the process. i miss him meeting us of the bus or when we walk home, but most of all i miss him curled up next to me forcing me into the smallest avalible space while has took up the entire sofa. Have a lovely christmas at the bridge xx

sorry to hear about Barney.     It will get easier but is a horrible time of year to loose a much loved friend  :hug: x

As Cazzer says, there's never an easy time to lose a beloved pet but must be even worse at this time of year  :hug:

RIP little one, safe and sound at the Bridge by now xx

Am so sorry, treasure.  Losing our babies is agonising, but especially at this time of year.  Sending you a huge hug, and hoping in time the good memories will erase the bad ones.

thanks ladies me and dd went out and said merry xmas to his star tonight, and me and dd had a giggle about him sat up there eating a full turkey. even dh has started talking about him today as he hasnt really spoke about him but i know he misses him to, was very strange not having to put the turkey away straight away to prevent the paw creeping over the worktop edge. thanks you for all your kind words xx
