Title: D Day for the boys
Post by: Catz on May 10, 2007, 22:05:35 PM
Well I have them booked in for their neutering on Monday morning. I will be getting the evil glares that night and the cold shoulder    I guess I'll be sleeping alone that night apart from the dog and Toffee.

Especially when Toffee and Max are going to be fed that night  :rofl:I'll have to shut the boys in the bathroom while the others are eating.

What ive done with mine in the past is feed them all at 7pm then nothing left out over night ,then the next morning ive fed the other cats once ive dropped off the cat who was due to be neutered at the vets .

might just do that. Saves any arguments and I will only be getting the cold shoulder for taking them to the vets and not for starving them too

I've always fed all the cats about 7 then moved the bowls about 8. Also running around the house trying to get them to eat the food saying "this is all your getting you know" still never worked.

That's funny cc I did that with Hobbes, kept telling him he wasn't getting anything else for ages and he'd be very hungry but it didn't work  I spent the evening running into the kitchen every time Dylan went in for food so I could put it down for him and take it up before Hobbes came in - I was exhausted  Dylan wasn't too chuffed that he didn't have anything left out overnight but he coped, goodness knows he has enough fat reserves to keep him going  :Luv: Hope all goes ok on Monday, you'll be a nervous wreck like I was two weeks ago but they'll be fine I'm sure - it's us mums who suffer most

 Sebastain was ok about it. He started playing with Harvey not long after getting back home and having a little bit to eat but Magnum went into hiding and everytime I looked for him he gave me the evil eye  :evillaugh:

Ahh - bless them!  I always find that starving them is the worst for the few minutes when they think they're getting breakfast or whatever.  When I get up there are whines and meows for breakfast but after a while they realise nothing's coming and give up.  I hope Magnum's forgiven you!
