It is snowing/ sleeting outside and my 2 cats have gone out!
I have just been out to put the rubbish in the bin outside and it was a mad dash, I thought cats didn't like getting wet, but it seems these 2 couldn't care less?
I know Denzel likes going out, getting a bit wet and loves getting dried, but its horrible out there!?
-
AhaaaH you fell into the warm towel trap.
"Meow, I goes owt an Mammy picks me up inna warm towel and I gets extra cuddels"
SUCKER ! :heeee heeee:
-
No! I know when Denzel is doing that, don't know if they are out there making snow kitties, or kitty angels, but know they won't be back in a hurry.
Maybe they like catching snowflakes on their tongue? ps it the snow is now lying since I posted...
-
Are you iun Scotland?
-
Not quite - northumberland, started snowing about 6pm
-
Stupid cats here too :naughty:
Only I'm a mean cat Mum as I don't let mine out when it's cold/wet/rainy/sleety/snowy as a) I don't have a cat flap so have to keep letting them in and out every two minutes and b) I can't be doing with the soggy feet/muddy pawprints! It seems the second it starts to rain they're meowling by the back door begging to be let out though
Very jealous of the snow :tired:
-
Yeah, Robbie has been out most of the night, came in this morning for two sachets of food, made his excuses and left again :tired:

The Munchkin likes a game called 'Orphan Annie' at this time of year. It goes like this:
1. The Munchkin sits by the back door staring meaningfully at it.
2. I point out that it's cold & wet, and that if he really wants to go out he has a perfectly good cat flap.
3. The Munchkin continues to stare alternately at the back door and me.
4. I open the door & The Munchkin goes out.
5. After 10 minutes or so, The Munchkin jumps onto the windowsill and stares mournfully into the room in manner of Orphan Annie.
6. I open the back door.
7. The Munchkin stares at me but remains on windowsill.
8. After several minutes of calling him I close the back door.
9. The Munchkin leaves the windowsill and sits at the back door staring mournfully through the cat flap.
10. I open the back door.
11. The Munchkin ignores me.
12. I point out that it's freezing and that I can't stand here with the back door open for ever.
13. After some minutes The Munchkin comes in.
14. The Munchkin goes to his food bowl and eats.
15. The Munchkin returns to the back door and stares meaningfully at it.
16. Repeat.

I think that you mean Misa not Munchkin LOL
-
Munchkin and Misa have you both wrapped well and truly round their paws and so have some others by the sound of these posts - EXACTLY HOW IT SHOULD BE :evillaugh: ;)
My Bonnie's indoor but loves to watch it from the warm window sill. My Smude R.I.P. loved it - I wouold go out and roll snowballs fro him to play with every time.

  Munchkin!
Mary, those photos aren't from this weekend are they? I am much like Bonnie, love the snow when watching it from inside.
Our snow has all melted today, can't ever remember snow in October!
-
Misa has been out twice tonight but only for about 15-30 mins each time as he has decided indoors in the warm is much better, even with a full moon!

No, they might be 2 years old, not sure. No snow here just yet. I too love the snow from the inside and heating on and plenty of food and drinks and no appointments to go to etc.

Wow, was that snow today or yesterday, Mary? Crazy!
In response, my lot go out in the snow but usually come back in after a short time and take up residence in radiator beds. ;)
-
JS, are you on the egg nog, in preparation for Christmas?? Below I said the pics might be 2 years old ;)
Mary
-
Nope, no egg nog....just a lack of consciousness.... ;)
