I was concerned that Beavis may have a thyroid problem , as he has been asking for food a lot more recently and losing weight so I took him to the vets today - he weighted in at 2.89kg (poor little lad!)
We had blood tests taken , and the results show no sign of thyroid problems , and his kidneys are fine - ;D so the vet has said to keep a close eye on him , and to try to fatten him up a bit! Now, I am sure Beavis will be MORE than happy to eat a pack of Dreamies a day , but I don't want to just feed him junk food!
Any suggestions very welcome :)

Kitten food is high in calories and all my adults love it, the kittens however eat adult food!!

Pleased to hear the bloods didn't show anything untoward :) Does he like cat milk?

Ooh , yes , her does! Liz , the vet did suggest kitten food , but I am worried it will give him a runny tum?

Poor Beavis
I cant suggest anything except foods he really likes

I was going to suggest kitten food too, do the mixing a bit more in each day thing.
Is he known for a dodgy tum? Worth a try anyway?

Avoid kitten food in gravey sets a couple of mine off, ours like FAGAIL and Natures Menu, Applaws and there are lots of foreign ones on Zooplus and ours all liked them from 17 to 20 weeks
