Its called hunting............. the shy little cat that wouldn't come near us for months has discovered he can catch things! He came from a busy housing estate , and when he arrived he didn't even know how to play!
Now we are getting at least one mouse a day , looks like a mousey mortuary most mornings. :sick:God help us when he discovers the bunnies......... :tired:
-
good to hear a stevie update, we do need a photo though to remind us!
-
Oh dear and once they discover that........................ :evillaugh:
Lupoin caught his first mouse last week and ate it!
-
oscar only eats the head
-
I found the ribcage completely intact and a bit else but sure the head was gone like all innards!
Plain disgusting
-
I know they're only doing what comes naturally to them but can't help  at the thought of it - I do feel very lucky that my boys are a bit 'backwards' in that department!
-
My 2 (denzel is the main suspect :shify: ) have brought some little mice and fledgelings back, but luckily that has calmed down for now :crossed:
Nothing seems to have been eaten tho?! Seems mine just like the thrill of the hunt :(

Just as I was leaving the house to go shopping Jasper (big fat fluffy 13 yr old boy) came sauntering down the road with a long orange tongue hanging out..............second look, someone's missing a goldfish! I left him to it and when I got back he'd only eaten the tail so I had some gory getting rid of to do!

Jasper used to make a habit of bringing fish home. My mum used to live next door and had a pond, which Jasper was mesmerised with. In the end I blamed a heron for taking all her fish..............he also tried a frog once but didn't know what to do with it. He had two green legs sticking out either side of his mouth and a very worried expression. I rescued the frog and it was completely unharmed! I think the current fishing is taking place in a house up the road. I just hope the owner doesn't read this!!!
