Title: sell by date on cat treats
Post by: Susanne (urbantigers) on August 29, 2012, 20:37:05 PM: I've found a load of packets of cat treats I didn't realise I had but they are well out of date. My first reaction was to throw them all away but then I wondered if they would be ok or not? They are air dried meat and the packets are all unopened. The sell by date is Sept 2011 so they are a year out of date. I don't really want to risk it but as the packets are unopened and sealed I am hesitating. Are they likely to cause harm if I feed them?

They probably will be ok BUT I do not think I would risk it Susanne. Get the Dreamies open ;D
