So pleased they are OK  ;D ;D

While Lupin was at the vets this week it was discovered that he has one very small kidney and one normal.

Napoleon had one dead kidney and one normal.

Maybe many cats have kidney 'defects' that are never known about?

I don't understand how she can go into season when she's had her only ovary removed. Did the vet leave any ovarian cells in place? The ovary is the source of oestrogen which is needed to trigger a season. Without one, it's not possible.

I'm glad your cat is well, though it may be wise to get your vet's advice re avoiding future kidney problems.
