Title: Oska is making his last trip
Post by: cazzer on August 16, 2012, 18:14:12 PM: Well Ducha will have company tonight if he goes to the Summerlands. My old persian Oska has been losing more and more weight and today went in for a scan. We knew he had pancreatitis, and liver problems from the scan last year. The scan today revealed huge changes in his liver which vet says can only be cancer. We've therefore made the decision to have him PTS tonight. He only weighs 2.8 kilos and in his prime he was a 6kg cat. So sad to see him like this. He is the last of our persians as well. I don't think we will ever get another one :(

Oska spent much of his last few months mainly asleep but whern he was awake he was a bit of a yowler so his presence was really noticeable. Keep expecting as well to wake up on a morning and find him sat on me wanting me to get up and feed him!
