I'm only posting this beecause its local.
It was in the ~Coventry paper last night, though not much detail about the cat and I am now pissed cos the poor thing was 18 years old. I suppose at 18, someone may have come across it dead.....

How awful for the poor owner, I'm not surprised they were too distraught to speak.
People are vile.
-
Pure and utter scum >:(
The poor owner must be devastated :( :( :(
-
Just speechless - beyond my comprehension.
My opinion stays the same - death penalty for animal abusers.
-
I think whatever they've done to the animal should be done to them.

:'( :'( :'( My heart goes out to the poor owner of that cat. What an awful ordeal to go through.
-
This is appalling I grew up in Shirley and went to school in Solihull which really briings it home to me I feel so sorry for the poor owners I hope thay find whoever did it and throw the book ot him or her

These despicable acts are why I think that the maximum penalty for animal cruelty should be far more than 6 months imprisonment. I'm with the ancient Egyptians: the death penalty for killing a cat, except in special circumstances such as painful fatal illness, and then done humanely.

I hope the filth are found and the same is done to them. They are a waste of fresh air and should no way be on the planet!!!
My heart goes out to the owner(s) it make me want to vomit.
