Title: Urgent Dental Care Needed
Post by: nibby91 on July 22, 2012, 18:40:39 PM
 :welcome:

My cats Oscar and Salem both need rotten teeth removing. They are struggling to eat and Oscar is losing weight very quickly. But it's way more than I can afford. I am desperately trying to raise the money to help them. I'm making sculptures to try and raise enough to get them the treatment. A link to it is below. Please help.

Welcome  :welcome:

Sorry to hear you need help to fund your cat's treatments, however I have edited your post as you should get permission from the owner of Purrs first so you will need to pm Tan.

If you are on benefits try Blue Cross or PDSA

Good luck with trying to raise the money.

Have you discussed payment plans with your vet?  Some are prepared to be paid in installments.

Hi nibby

Wecolme :)
Sorry to hear your cats have poorly teeth :(
As below if you are on Benifits you will be able to get lower cost vet treatment
Have a look  http://www.pdsa.org.uk/ or hopefully your vet can offer a payment plan

If members feel they can help privately. Please contact nibby by pm. Thanks

It is up to the individual member to donate their money to a donation or fund request and Purrs advices strongly to carry out full checks that funds would be used for the stated Purpose.
Purrs cannot be held responsible for members private donations to a request that is not an Official Purrs fundraisier or collection.

Just to add, as well as PDSA and Blue Cross sometimes CP and RSPcA will help.  You could also ring round different vets as prices for treatments can vary a lot at different vets.
