Title: Please say a prayer for Shadow.RIP Little Lady

Poor little Shadow is the office cat at the ASSISI where I volunteer.She's around 20 years old,suffers from dementia & over the past few days has been very ill.

Sou would all Purrs peeps please say a little prayer & keep this little cat in your thoughts.

Little update,as of yesterday,Shadow is much better.She's up and around as much as a little old lady her age can be.She's ventured into the reception a few times & loving the attention.
My stint  on the Steps to Work programme has ended but I'm back as a volunteer as of yesterday.In tommorow not only to look after the feral clan but also for training for the Chance of a Lifetime programme.

Thanks Hilary,

I have my first run this weekend coming so I'll be in Friday afternoon for a couple hours before I leave.

Are you coming down for the open day the following Saturday?...
I'm coming in that day as well,really enjoying volunteering there now,don't think I could not do it now,the ferals have sort of got under my skin now.
Oh & the's going to be a new feral,Flossie,the little cat that was in the top cage next to Fred,she wasn't responding to our attempts to socialize with her.

Yes I hope to make it to the open day,probably in the morning.  Let's hope Flossie settles in ok and we can help her be a happier cat.

I've just found out Shadow,the office cat at the ASSISI,passed away Friday night in her sleep,possibly from a stroke.I got so used to seeing her every morning I go in.
