Title: A rare moment of compliance
Post by: mad_lilli on April 02, 2012, 13:04:57 PM
Lady Lilli allowed her picture to be taken AND faced the camera. Yes, that is the pillow next to mine  :shy:

She's beautiful  :Luv2: Nothing wrong with cats having their own pillow, although I do put a blanket on Riley's one at bedtime as he's very hairy  :naughty:

So is Lilli! We bought a "fur magnet" - looks like a mini window squeegee, and that removes the majority of hair before washing! She only sleeps there until I settle and then she walks across the back and down to my side for her huggle.  :Luv2:

beautiful photo  :Luv2: :Luv2:

and well done at being able to a) get her to face the camera  :evillaugh: and b) getting such a lovely photo of a black cat lol

My cats are black and whereas Peanut has some white (allowing his photos to resemble facial features) Nuggie has no white at all. He's such a handsome cat but i never get to truely capture it and when I do the flash makes his eyes look like something from The Children of The Damned
if he closes his eyes he is but a meer fluffy blob

So well done! i am jealous lol ;D ;D

"fluffy blob" is so like our miyagi :Luv2: he has those huge glowing eyes too in pics...when he first came as a kitten we just had a pic of a furball and two huge glows in the middle...a bit like a flump :evillaugh:

Hmmm I'm thinking Nuggie has a 2nd home and is called Miyagi....  :shify: :shify:  :evillaugh: he is also doubling for his cousin Groucho on here too!! lol

Funny, cos when I first got him, like you a meer tiny fluff ball with eyes...i thought he was very unusual and I'd never seen a cat like him..... And then! The last few years I've done nothing but see his clones

Ahh Dexter! Living upto the tv counterpart  :evillaugh:
The flash and their eyes have ruined what could have been a masterpiece in photography at times  darn it!! lol

A compliant photo......

The 3rd member of the trio arrives at last  :)  Grouchie lad yesterday.  He too hates his pic being taken.  You know the way cats sort of chatter their teeth in frustration when they see a bird through a window?  Groucho does that when I take his pic  :shify:

We also have one or two Lilli lookielikies (she is a beauty isn't she?  :catluv: )

Ruby yesterday

Millie yesterday

I hasten to add that, for every OK eyes pic, I've probably taken 20 glowing evil eyes pics :)

you know its true..I keep seeing Miyagi clones in the rescue pages on catchat..of course i immediately fall in love then think no i have Miyagi..i dont need his clones :-:

I just love big furry cats, its funny but when people visit they allways seem scared off him cos he looks so big....i dont care, i know hes secretly a teddy bear :Luv2:

beautiful pictures Rosella!! I am envious!!

and Miyagi, Groucho and nuggie are scarily alike!!!!  :shify:
....I love Groucho's version of "cheeese"

I know what you mean Mittens - when i went to the Rescue before adopting Peanut, there was a cat identical to Nuggie there too, just smaller. But Peanut stole OH's heart  :)

Nuggie is very big too and people are either scared or in love with him...but hes my big ball of grumpy fluff  :evillaugh:

....I love Groucho's version of "cheeese"

It's more of a "b****y, ***!**!!!, cheese!"  :evillaugh:

Sorry going off topic I know but ............   We have had ishoos with ours not getting on from time to time Jo but things seem to get sorted eventually.  Currently there is an ishoo between Noni and Groucho; nothing too terrible and they will I'm sure find an accommodation in a while.  Grouchie likes to chase her as she hisses at him and then runs.  Dinah used to have ishoos with everyone  :shify: but only with Noni now.  Two divas they are.  Dinah is far less the wandering minstrel that she used to be and was curled up within inches of Grouchie lad on the fleece the other day.  Happy as anything which is something I would have put money on would never happen  :)

Sending Lilli another "you iz a dorguss dirlie" while I'm here  :Luv:

What horrible weather out there  :scared:
