Hi, just wondered how often people feed their cats. Our cat doesn't seem to eat much. A box of food lasts 2 weeks and the bowl doesn't need filling upfor 2-3 days, is that normal? We never let her bowl get empty so shes never without food. She seems happy and healthy enough, but just seems like a long time. Even the rabbit and guinea pigs eat more than the cat.

Mine get fed 3 times a day, breakfast, tea and supper :) Wet food at breakfast and tea, then handful of dry at supper time. I've always fed my cats at regular mealtimes, with several cats, its easier for me to see what each one is eating - and its what they've always been used to. :)
Do you just feed her dry food?

Yes thats what everyone else I know does. Thats why I was a bit worried. Yes she doesn't like the tin food

Try getting a couple of chicken in jelly pouches from tescos or sainsburys, Felix or Whiskers or their own brand and just put about half a pouch down for her.
You maybe surprised and she may like them.
Its better for cats to have wet food with a little dry food.
I have found my cats dont like food in tins either.
Good luck

I will try that :) She would just leave the other stuff and pick out the biscuits. Will give the pouches a try.
Thanks
