Probably being asked before, but just wondering which flea and worming treatment everyone currently uses.
I put Frontline combo on Toby. Unfortunately, this stopped being effective on Lottie about three years ago and she developed flea allergy, so she has Stronghold from the vet. I get the vet to give them a worming tablet (Drontal for Lottie, Toby had to have something else as he's such a bit cat) at vaccination time and use Droncit spot on the rest of the time.

The. Only thing. That. Will ever work is stuff from the vets. Lotzy

I use frontline and milbemax - I don't flea or worm as regularly as I'm supposed to but my garden is cat proofed so they don't really mix with other cats
-
I. Would seriously reconsider frontline to be honest

i dont do anything regularly but its stronghold all the way here for fleas and millibax for misa at vets and droncil? spot on at vets for others.
when i can get sasa to vets she gets a worming injection, so she can have stronghold cos you cant use two drop ons unless a couple of weeks apart.

I stopped using frontline too as it wasnt working :) changed to Bob Martin Double Action Spot On - and before anyone starts about avoiding BM products like the plague ;) - the double action product is EXACTLY the same as the veterinary Advantage product (I wouldnt use any of the other BM so called preventive flea treatments after hearing all the horror stories about them!) Anyway BM double action is working ;)
I use milbemax for worming, used to use Drontal, but find milbemax easier to give as its smaller and can be hidden easily in Webbox ;)

Thank you for your replies. As it happened, I thought I'd try Lottie again on Frontline combo last year (as it's cheaper) and her flea allergy came back, so for her it has to be Stronghold. Frontline works fine for Toby though - it doesn't make sense.

I usually use Frontline and Drontal (I prefer Milbemax but my vets charge £10 for a prescription!)
-
I have used Frontline for years,it works for me(cats) tried Bob Martins once and vowed never to use it again.

Which BM product did you use? I wouldnt use any BM product other than their new (ish) Double Action product, because the active ingredient is the same as Advantage.

I use Advantage. You don't need a prescription for it now.

Frontline combo. Works fine for The Munchkin.

Hello again,it was the flea product,i used it quite some time ago, perhaps it's better now but i wouldn't use it.
