Has anyone else bought one of these 'Willow' brand scratch posts?
I got the one with 4 balls hanging from it, cant remember how much it was but it was pricier than others in the shop. I thought it looked much nicer, and also has sisal (?) covering the base.
Well within a few days one of the balls had come off, and within a couple of weeks the sisal rope from the base had come off where the cats had (naturally) been scrathing!
Just wondering if anyone else had one & warning not to invest your money in them either >:( >:( >:(
I know I should of taken it back (pets at home), but couldn't be bothered :-[ :-[ :-[

I would definately take it back.
My cat treee came from Zooplus about 6 years ago and the sissal is now moulting from some posts but it had had loads of use and still is.
I have scratching post bought in Croydon, London that is well worse for wear now but is a wooden one and about 3ft tall and must be well over 10 years old and cost about a tenner!

I know i should of taken it back - the OH didn't help by glueing the rope back on tho! the cats wouldn't go anywhere near it after that :evillaugh:
I got a replacement which seems much better quality & a lot cheaper.
I might use zooplus when I need a new cat tree, they seem good value for money on there - cant believe yours has lasted so long! I think you can sometimes just buy replacement posts as well, but our tree is a bit on the tatty side :-[

I've got this one from zooplus, I've had it about 5 years, I've replaced a couple of the poles (the purrs shop sells them) otherwise it is fine

ps I like how they always use kittens in the photos so we think the trees are bigger...
