monkey isnt himself today :( he stayed inside all last night which isnt like him, and he was doing a funny swallowing thing this morning, so i checked in his mouth but he just meowed and ran away.
so i get up and give them both breakfast but monkey doesnt want none! which really isnt like him at all. so i tried a treat, which he ate but it took him forever.
i spied him watching a wasp last night, so you think its stung him? or maybe his tooth is hurting? i just dont know.
im gonna wait until tonight and if he dont eat his tea then shall i take him vets?
(p.s i dont think jasper has caused it and i cant see any blood??)

Sounds like he could of ate the wasp!
I'd take him to the vets asap as he may be having a reaction to the sting in which the throat/tongue could be swelling up!

bearing in mind its may day weekend this weekend so best to get phoning now.

so sorry i didnt get back to you all sooner, ive been away and left the little ones with my other half.
hes fine, the vet says he got stung maybe by thistles or whatever but it wasnt in his mouth, hes back to him normal self now anyways

not too bad at all we leave them together quite happily now.
monkey always cleans jasper but jasper just wants to play and grabs monkey and scratches him so monkey kinda puts him in a headlock and holds him with his teeth. im not sure if this is play or nasty?? :scared:

That sounds normal and just lilke it was between Jaffa and Mosi when Mosi was smaller. Jaffa would get Mosi in a headlock and hold him down. He would also groom Mosi and sometimes pin Mosi down and insist he was groomed! It's dominance behaviour and they will sort themselves out (although see my "Jaffa is spraying" thread in behaviour!!!)

My two do this all the time and take turns on who's in the headlock :rofl:
