One of my ragdolls has what looks like a cold sore just below his nose.
I only noticed it this morning and it definitely wasn't there yesterday.
I will take him to the vets tomorrow but has anyone seen this in their cat before and if so what was it ?
It bled a little today when I examined it and it feels like a very small lump.
I am a bit worried at the moment. Can anyone advise.
:thanks:

Wonder if its a rodent ulcer, easily sorted with steroids.

I hope so.
I am at work all day today and I feel sick with worry. :(

Hope the vet ttrip sorts it out

Hope it's nothing untowards  Why do we always spot these things at weekends when the vets are closed!

How is Bertie today? Hopefully it's something simple like a sore. Let us know if you take him to the vet and what they say.

Like Teresa, from your description, I think maybe it sounds like a granuloma and wait to hear what vet says. If it is, I think keeping on top of flea treatment is recommended in addition to whatever vet prescribes.
Hope all is OK Philip. Sending a  for Bertie
