Swiss chalet anyone? Must admit to being tempted at that price. Can't imagine what the flatpack instructions look like

I love the look of that but with the weather here I dont think it would last two minutes.......sigh
-
I love the look of it, but wondered if the practicalities work - I mean it would be very small inside - would only just squeeze one of my boys in and then I doubt he'd be able to turn around. And I'm not sure you can get in to clean/disinfect.
I like the idea of a covered veranda though and it's given me an idea for summer. I'm thinking of constructing a cat-port (like a car port but for....yeah you get the idea) so they have their very own spot that stays cool and dry. Just needs a bit of planking, roof felt and legs (which I already have most of). Hmm scratches chin... planning for summer already ;D Maybe over the top of the garden bench so it would stay dry and I could bolt the roof to the fence?
Here's where I mean...

We have that one - brought it couple of years ago, mine like to sit on the roof mainly lol!

Aww don't they look happy :evillaugh:
So is it hard to clean out inside? I can't see a way "in" for hoomans.
-
I want this so much, it's way too cute. I think I need a bigger garden first though.

Its not very big, doesnt take up much space.... ;)

Ordered it - price is still very good so have bitten the bullet. Well, Kitty's going to need her own fairy den when she starts venturing out. ;D
-
I am sooo buying this!!
This is a luxury holiday home! and might actually interest Nuggie, so he too gets to stay warm or at least sheltered!!
He wont entertain the one we have :shy: and it became Tazi's - and now Peanuts...*sigh*
I came home one day and there had been a massive downpour and i had one dry cat, one wet cat....and clearly only one intelligent cat
But I love this.....and looking at your photo Gillian its a very decent sized too!! ;D ;D
-
My lot have this too -they sleep on the verandah top bit -but don''t go inside it
-
i think these are cute and ideal as a rest stop for passing cats too :wow:

Very good point, but outdoor fairy houses tend to attract erhem the more "street-wise" catfolk who end up needing TNR (trap/neuter/release). From whence we become mad cat wo/men. Be afraid - be very afraid :scared:
-
haha, i bet stuart has a row of them in his garden :evillaugh:
i do have a few strays come by so was thinking of a den for them tbh as over winter its so cold and the neglectedstray (sorry owned by a neighbour :censored:) cat angel who sits in the rain :-[
