Now here's a dilemma for you. Imagine the scenario. You're about to go out and it's time for those "bye bye, sorry I'm leaving you, I'll be back before you know it" dreamies. But you encounter this
(http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/urbantigers/Jaffasleeping-2.jpg)
Also imagine said cat is rather hard of hearing so unlikely to hear the dreamies drawer being opened or the packet being rustled. So, what would you do? Disturb the peaceful sleep and give the dreamies or let sleeping cats lie and sneak out of the door but spend all day feeling guilty that he was deprived of his dreamies? ;D
I await responses before I tell you what I did :scared:
-
Leave the dreamies by his nose for when he wakes up? Hoping for the rest of the day he doesnt get pounced on by the other and have a heart attack???!
-
I'd sneak out the door and think how much money I was saving. :evillaugh:
-
At last a new pic of Mosi :Luv2:
I think I would wake him and give him the Dreamies cos you know hesays he never gets enough of them. Cats being cats - he'll have been back to sleep in 2 minutes. ;)
So what did you do? Was you a good mum or a BAD one?

I am sure that Jaffa Mary
I would sneak out and let the boy enjoy his beauty sleep and give him his dreamies when you get home ;D
-
Bless!!!
I'd either hide a few for him around the house to sniff out later or make him a dreamies dispenser toy. Get a large smarties tube (sadly you will have to eat the smarties first) Cut a few holes in in, just a bit bigger than dreamies and seal both ends. Pop dreamies in the holes and let the cat find them. My two are so funny with it, Izzy noses it along the floor until a dreamie falls out, Cashie will whack it soundly with his paws.
Anyway, it means they get their treats but have to work a bit at it and keeps them occupied for at least two minutes!

I'm with Gill - let Jaffa enjoy his powernap , then double dreamies when you get home! :naughty:
-
I'm afraid I would have Placed some Dreamies in a strategical place before leaving, then when I got home, Give em some more :evillaugh:
-
I am sure that Jaffa Mary
Indeed it is, Gill! C'mon Mary - keep up! ;) Jaffa - affectionate elderly gent with very loving disposition and total inability to be naughty. Mosi - cute, fluffy monster who keeps us both on our toes. The only thing they have in common is their colour! ;D

Now Im a cruel kind of person..... If Amber was asleep I would slip out the front door and hope she didnt notice until I came home again. That said Amber would usually be asleep on whichever coat I want to wear in which case I pick up sleepy put and cuddle her until she purrs. Tell her I think shes gorgeous and I love her loads and then put her down some where else...pick up coat and go out :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
She doesnt tend to notice

Yer, c'mon Susanne - does this indicate you kept Jaffa waiting? :evillaugh:

Mary

Maybe she has stopped jaffas dreamies & he has got some sweet revenge so she is incapable of getting help??? :naughty:
Does anyone know where she lives? I am fearing the worst...

oops - sorry! I did try to reply to this at lunchtime at work on friday but i ended up losing the post and we have been ridiculously busy at work so little time to get on internet even at lunchtime (if you don't go out of the office little chance of not answering the phone and ending up doing work).
Well....... I gave Jaffa his dreamies! He loves his dreamies and if I'd hidden them or placed them near him for later Mosi would have got to them first. So I gently woke him and gave him a cuddle (and got some purrs in return) before giving him extra dreamies to apologise for waking him. He had the rest of the day to sleep and insomnia is something Jaffa certainly doesn't suffer from!
-
Extra Dreamies - he will love you forever. Well done.
Mary
-
Fancy disturbing the poor thing!
At least he didn't miss out! ;D
-
Jaffa doesnt mind being woken up. Cuddles are the most important thing in the world to him followed closely by dreamies. He's always happy to have a bit of fuss :)
