Sounds like a great toy ;D Does Jasper seem affected by the catnip? I thought kittens didn't get affected by it until they were 6 months or something like that, I'll have to give it a go if they do.
-
oh god yeah, i first relaised he liked catnip when i found some catnip treats in the cupboard, he didnt eat them he just rolled in them :-:
but yeah he loves the stuff. keeps rolling in it then running about then coming back to it
-
Oooh, I'm going to give it a go with my new babies then. I have some super strong catnip in the bathroom cabinet - It was the only place my cat Tiggy couldn't follow the smell to!
-
hehe, bet thats a laugh if you have nosey people looking through your cabinet!!!!!!!!
i didnt think kittens bothered with nip either, pretty sure my jasper didnt.... but he's a bit weird anyway so can be hard to tell!! :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
-
hes getting more and more like monkey by the day :Luv:
he sleeps the same way as him, and ive been watching them and jasper kinda looks up to monkey to see what to do.
but monkey is like "oh my god what are you" i think he is actually scared of him  tis sweet jasper was pouncing on monkeys tail whilst he was eating

Er, 'sucky' socks sound like a great idea! the lady who brought my foster cat brought some catnip leaves, unfortunately she spread them willy nilly around the house and the cats were up the wall!!!! I've been meaning to make them a container but haven't got round to doing any sewing, old sock drawer here I come............ :wow:
-
yes you are right sucky sock rules here and its just had its first refill of fresh leaves in last few days and itsssss so soggy
-
You can also get catnip from Ebay. I bought some for Rosie a little while ago, she practically ripped my hand apart trying to get to it!! We also had a drooling cat on our hands!!
-
my catnip plants have all been got at.
so much for all my tender planting!
-
Just want to say Thanks from the cats here for the sucky sock idea, I've got three dribbling puds rolling all over the floor cuddling my old socks! They are very happy! :thanks:
-
My tub has been got at too Angies but its still flourishing in all the good weather we just had. Misa sat right in the middle of all the plants and did some digging and franta has a rugluar munch
-
I can also recommend some catnip treats! Again Rosie goes wappy over these.
Cat-nip bites by beapher around £1.10 for 35g.
They are basically small crunchy treats with catnip paste inside. They also have vitamins and minerals to keep the cat in top condition.
-
I have tried the catnip drops, they dont like them - might try the crunchy ones though!!
-
I have tried Rosie with the catnip drops - the ones that look like pale green choccie drops? She doesn't like those either!!
-
Yeah, there the ones, gave up with catnip treats after those.
