Been Feeding Slinky and Ginger Bob for a while now, Slinky stays at the second house down from me and Ginger Bob stays at
the second house across from me " both have safe access with No roads to Cross " been feeding them mainly biscuits and
dreamies, I ain't starting the wet food carry on tho
they are getting real fussy tho, even turning their noses up at Dreamies at times
anyway, Carol is away to her mums till tomorrow, but in the meantime there is quite a lot of Turkey left in the fridge,
I won't eat it cause I'm a Veggie, but OH said Give it to Slinky n Ginger Bob ;D ;)
Only Problem is.......... They are turning their nose up at that too
I'm Like..WTF ???
Only thing i can come up with is that they are sick of the sight of Turkey ??
Or do any of your Puddies not Dabble in it either?? :sneaky:
-
MIne ate one or two very small helpings and then refused any more.
I wonder if they can smell that its just not absolutely fresh any more?
-
I think they're just sensible, I'm not keen in turkey myself :naughty:
-
The Hoovers at the Clan loved ours and are having another Turkey crown with the humans for New Year
Our addage is if the cats won't eat it the dogs will
-
aye, ah dinna want ti go round knocking on peoples doors who have dogs tho :-[
just thought, None of my Friends have dogs  well none in the immediate area anyway
would the birds eat it ??? starlings etc ?? I know the Damned shite hawks will
-
sparecat wont eat it if im watching her, only if she thinks shes stolen it :evillaugh: Lucifer virtually inhales it and neko carries it round until hes found a doormat to eat it on
So have you tried provided your turkey offerings on doormats or accidentally dropping some and wandering off
its a shame the hedgies are asleep, theyd like it im sure
-
hmmm, Left out a Huge plateful yesterday, and it was all gone this morning
maybe the Hedgies woke up for it Snarf ?? :evillaugh:
-

I think cats do know if its not "top notch" :innocent: my 3 all turned their noses up at a tin of tuna the other day  i wouldnt care but my 3 year old daughter was gutted as she wanted it
2 turned down king prawns as they didnt like the look of them, Georgia kitty however ate about 12 tails and all
-
Forgot to say, the second batch disappeared as well
There are quite a few Gingers in the area, Ginger bob being one of them, The other two I'd say are very Large males,
one all stripey Ginger, and the other, Mostly stripey Ginger with a big white Bib, I know the all Stripey Ginge lives across
the road from me, and frequents My Garden a lot ( going by the way he has worn a path in the Grass ) the one with the Bib
Has a Turquoise collar, Needless to say These two are very very wary of Strangers, and I have yet to get within 20ft of em
Oh yes, before I forget, It was the White Bibbed one that ate all the turkey, and he also ate next doors too :evillaugh:
-
Oh oh.......... a New Feline appeared this morning
I've Never seen him before 8) He is a Large Tabby ( Kinda Like Slinky ) but with more white i.e. Socks on the
front and Boots on the back :evillaugh: he was a bit timid to start with, but with a shake of the Cat Biccy box
He was eating right out of my hand :Luv: Just hope he is not a lost Furbabe, No Collar etc :(
but I would guess he must have eaten a whole bowl of biscuits = Starving  well altogether I put
down 3 and a half handfuls of biccys and they were demolished in minutes - He was just like a hoover
He isn't in the area now, but I will keep my eyes open if he comes back, maybe mean a trip to the vets to see
if he is chipped
-
I hope he has a home
-
Me too Gill, I haven't seen him today, dunno if thats a good thing or not
-
He's Back again, Hungry as ever  poor thing :(
