Possible bladder blockage :( He was fine first thing, ate his breakfast and had his BP tablet. Then he went outside while I was feeding foster cats and I could hear him yowling (he does that from time to time anyway) but I realised he was scraping at the ground - thought constipation at first - then, indoors he was going from one litter tray to the other - and I realised he was trying to wee, and not able to, so rushed him straight in. Had to leave him as vet was doing op, so waiting to hear.

oh no, fingers crossed he is sorted quickly and hopefully cheaply

Oh no, poor Harry :( Hope it's not too serious, it couldn't have come at a worse time too with all the worry with your Mum

You are having a time of it at the moment    Hope Harry is soon feeling better.

I do hope that Harry is OK and you are on ypur way to bring him home

Perhaps they will put a catheter into the bladder to release the urine and then try and find out what is causing the problem. Hope everything turns out for the best.

I've just collected him from the vets. His bladder wasnt full so no blockage, just cystitis, they think - so he's had antibiotic just in case of infection, and metacam. However, when I went in to see the the vet, she showed me that he had blood coming from his nose  which he didnt have when I took him in this morning (well not that I noticied anyway) - so not sure what thats all about - vet said something about a polyp or and ulcerative condition in his nose  His blood pressure is normal now, forgot to ask if he will still have to take his BP tablets - I'll have to ring tomorrow.

poor lad, glad to hear it wasn't a blockage. Hope the blood isn't anything serious  x
