Title: Penguin’s flight has been booked!
Post by: Sabrina (Auferstehen) on May 02, 2007, 16:46:53 PM
Our cat Penguin will be arriving from the US on the 16th of May (I thought it would be the 17th but the whole timezone thing still confuses me a bit with flights.). The company doing all the work emailed me with all the information today confirming everything.

After roughly 6 months the wait is almost over and we’ll have the lovely Penguin settled here.

We’re going out tonight to buy our girls some more food and get what Penguin is on at the moment. The wet food he’s eating isn’t carried over here so I’m going for a variety of canned foods to find out what he likes. Possibly a bed as well, have to see if I can get my husband to agree that HIS cat needs his own bed as he’s much bigger than the two girls kitties we have.

I can’t wait!

He's roughly 6 years old.

Got him from Petsmart as they had a rescue area (I can't remember the name of the rescue). He'd been abused as a kitten (his head bashed against a wall by some kids) and was very timid when I adopted him at 6 months. He would duck his head when you picked him up. Now however he loves his head rubbed and as much fuss as he can get (mostly from my husband).

Ooops, forgot to look there for a bed for him. There is an In Store right next to PAH and I only looked there for beding. (going back on the weekend for the 2 for 1 on Hills though)

My husband has donated one of his pillows for Penguin - I swear he's going to be spoiled rotten. There's already a steak dinner in mind along with crips as they are Penguin's favorite people food.
