Do you have a PAH near you Lisa?
I used to use the tesco one but it is rubbish compared to Cats Best (brilliant!) it is really good at clumping so you can just sift out the lumps, you will use loads less litter, it is worth paying the extra :)
-
Yes we do have a PAH
ive bought some wilkinsons cat litter for today £2.50 for 14 litres
i keep meaning to get some worlds best cat litter but never get round to it ,
i might try n go there this wk end
-
I have never tried WBCL but cats best is definitely brilliant, I think its the same idea.... removing clumps etc. Its only fault is it tracks a bit, I am always sweeping and hoovering! :innocent:
-
I think all litters track to some degree, i prefer to step on worlds best, it crumbles under foot unlike clay, that just sticks in your toes! >:(
-
im using a wood based one like little pellets.
that clumps nicely and as of yet no smells
-
Is cats best like worlds best, Dawn? ie is it corn based?
-
I use catsan clumping but the price has gone up so much recently I think I shall be looking for something else. The problem I have is that as Amber gets cystitis I prefer to have white litter so it would show up. I had one that was pink and it scared my silly lol

Edited to add I do tend to know if Ambers ill before it shows in the litter its just precaution in case she changes her habit of yowling when she has an attack ;)

I like the Sainsburys own brand clumping clay litter. I've tried tons of them and I like it best, seems to keep any smells in better than the expensive ones. I think it might be discontinued though cos it's been down to £1.35 for the past couple of months, I buy all that's on the shelf every time I'm in.

i have had that prob with the Tesco stuff, fortunately they had some last week, so I bought a lot, and then got asked by the RSPCA people if I had a lot of cats!! Actually, that keeps happening, need to stop bulk buying!! I might try that Cats Best from PAH, but it is such a journey to get to it, it would cost more in petrol than I would save using one from a supermarket. Either that, or I go back to Sophisticat (dont like wood based ones)

how did the rspca know u were buying lots of cat litter??????
or was it during the rspca week when they were collecting in tesco ?
-
RSPCA week!! I should buy it in big bags, but with the 98p stuff from Tesco, I can get 4 bags for 32 litres, and it would cost the rescue £5 for that amount, so if I can save them £1 here and there, I am happy to.
