Had a male kitty hanging round for a week, took him in tonight as its pouring down. Usual story, really boney & not neutered. Been calling him starvin marvin for now as he doesnt eat he inhales food lol. As i've brought him in i've decided to have him neutered at the vet. should make it easier to find him a permanent home, I can't keep him as I have 4 already. My husband suggested klingon or rash for a name as he's been stuck to my ankle all evening, but I really don't think those will do ;D He's extremely chatty too, thanks all

Bless you
What about Charlie?

I think we need to see a pic of Marvin the Klingon Rash
-
I think you should stick with Marvin - it's a fab name ;D
-
I like Marvin too ;D

Marvin always reminds me of the depressive robot from Hitchhikers Guide :boring: Give him a happy name :)
-
How about Jarvis (Cocker) - he always looks like he needs feeding up

Hello
Will stick to Marvin I think, thanks for the suggestions. My boy Marvin is sticking to us like glue, I don't think he can believe his luck, i'm gonna need a baby sling at this rate, lol.
Does anyone know if I can get a bit of help getting him neutered? Am embarrassed to ask but I have 4 cats already & money is a bit tight :-[
:thanks:

I think Marvin is a fab name and really suits him.

What a lovely boy :Luv:
If you don't have any luck with your local CP then I know the branch based RSPCA quite often have neutering campaigns where they offer low cost or free neutering.
Good on you for looking out for him :)

Cheers for the info, will get cracking on monday. I think Marvin has had a home as he has too sweet a personality, he's going to the vets on monday for a checkup as my other boy Taz is due his booster so might as well take them both. So will check if he has a chip, though I doubt it.
He certainly has separation anxiety, he's only happy being a paws length away from us at all times. I can't even go to the kitchen without him hitching a lift on my ankle

Marvin is gorgeous and so pleased he is hooked on you ;D :innocent:

Oh he's adorable! And Marvin does suit him.
Ask around your local vets if they participate in the RSPCA C4 sceme for neutering strays - if they do, you get it free. I usually state I'm going to act as a feeder, then they get registered to me.
If he's sticking around, why not ask about a discount on microchipping aswll? Worth a bit of cheek and if he does wander off, you've got a better chance of getting him home safely. I'm so jealous, he's just lovely :Luv:

Hiya, thanks for all the info. Not gonna get him chipped just yet as i'm gonna try & find him a home :shify: Husband says no more, I have 4 already, but dear Marvin knows how to win you over. I am typing with one hand as Marvin clings to my knee & he lets me touch HIS TOES!!!!!! He doesn't mind a bit, never known a cat let you do that without the aid of anesthetic.

Marvin is gorgeous. I love the name too! Give him a cuddle from me. :Luv:

Well the vet says Marvin's a nice little kitty, about a year old, no chip, oh surprise >:(, he's been given a wormer so he should start putting some weight on soon. Just need to get him neutered & then he gets the great big thumbs up, happy days :Luv2:
