it was my little project to get my Tazi something fitting & its helped me feel like he's really home again xx (Tazi went away to go to sleep with the Angels and although we eventually found him, I sooo wished he'd not insisted in being so darn independant right to the end!)

Gill - I got this from www.thecatpottery.co.uk so have a look for little Napoleon :Luv: x The photo's really dont do the statue's finish justice, but I chose one from the Garden Range (even though i have it inside) and it is solid stone (weighs a ton! lol) very friendly small business and answered all my queries quickly. I placed my order on the Wednesday and it arrived via FedEx the very next day(free delivery)!! and all their own cats are the models for their sculptures too!!....... :hug: :hug:

You never went out at your usual 5am slot cos your mammy fell asleep on the couch with you and you stayed with me.
My heartbreaks that as I jumped up to get ready for work and "Uncle Sarmi" let you out after your breakfast that I never saw you go, I never protested like i normally did, that it was too cold and "wait, he'll be back in 5mins".....i never saw your beautiful face again :'( :'( :'(
I knew when you werent there when I came home, something was wrong. I could bet money on your routine. Last seen by a neighbour at 3pm and then nothing. I searched for you for 2 hours, through fields and in bushes, every white object looking like it could be you. But I never checked the other side. The side no one knew you went. Only searching along that roadside, I never ventured further in :( why? could I of helped you?? i'll never know :'( xx
I knew when you werent crying at the door that following morning. I just knew. I knew I would get you home, but I knew it would be with tears :'( - but still I did your Posters/flyers and internet missing reports, tried to have hope. I posted less than 20 houses and your Uncle Sarmi got the call. The lady already said she thought you were gone, but he saved me the pain until we knew it was you. The Lady came and took us to your sleeping space and my world ended. Curled up and closed your eyes and I still cant accept why.....what happened in the short time from 3pm until i got home? I'll never know. You werent injured or showed signs of distress, just fast asleep :'( Sarmi wrapped you in my coat and brought you home xx I wish i'd cleaned & brushed you and could lift my coat from your face and kiss your forehead & eyes like everyday - but I couldnt. I was scared I might see pain, I was scared it would of scarred my memories and i'm so very sorry :'( but i sat with you and stroked you and we touched paws one last time xxx
You were 13&half, my baby since 9 weeks. You earned your name from running with a kink in your tail up the wallpaper and curtains lol always independant but only ever loving your mam, we had it good. You had fell out of bedroom windows, been stung by bees, brought home wild rabbits, went missing for a week, got kidnapped out of your garden by the local kids, who wanted you to sleep in theirs, teased dogs because you were King xx
Your 1st Daddy Mark even shed a tear, though we left when you were 6 xx
We had Nuggie by then, forced into your affections and you were the best brother to him. Both the only consistant things i ever had, you were both my Lion Pride and we relied on each other.
I made bad judgements with life, sometimes selfish - but you always loved me, knowing i'd make it right.
We moved 8 times in total :-[ but I knew when we met your Uncle Sarmi, this was it. My best friend shared his affection openly with another. You never tolerated, for the first time you Purred at this other Human and you were happy and oh how Sarmi loved you, his little sidekick xx Our last move, took you 3hrs to settle before you escaped. Just sat on the lawn watching us move boxes, not a care in the world. I knew I had made the right choice in picking our final home. Never far away and the forever watchful Papa Cat of the younger fur-babies in our street. You felt safe xxx
my heart will never mend, you knew me and I knew you, we shared hard times we'd never speak of :'( I have you home and your memorial statue. I kiss your ashes each day and tell you I love you, just like i always did (if anyone else knew that - i'd be off to counselling lol) but we were all so happy with our Lion Pride, but now the King has gone xx
I wont ever accept the reason why and ignorance is bliss, but I knew you to your very soul....?

Please stay close to Nuggie, hes not doing so well and make sure when he chooses the day to join you, that both my special boys are together so that we can all touch paws again when I arrive xx

Even though my Tazi has his own Facebook (yes! he was THAT talented lol) his page is getting soggy with my tears! lol
On here its messages straight to the Bridge and i'll be getting him all embarrassed infront of the other fur-babies - with him having a rep to maintain and all that lol :)

I was excited about going to the rescue and then Peanut reserved us lol (homecheck pending) and then sobbed like a baby, so sad and heavy hearted for little Tazi :'(
I think its just not been overly long but Nuggie is lonely and we did only go to to "look" but thats what happens when I am let loose haha!

But we are giving Peanut the loving home he deserves and i know Tazi would be happy another cat is getting the loves and snuggles :) :Luv2:

Peanut is such a lovely character and pulled hard at the heart strings like a pro lol - i know him and Tazi would have been firm friends.....so I think Tazi has done it for Nuggie and me :)

I'm sure i'll always shed my tears for my first boy :'( but he'd give his paws up for Peanut to have a forever home like he had all his life :Luv2: :Luv2:

Snowy has been out lately and you know how you'd end up getting mixed up - so much a like for that split second! but it just leaves me disappointed :( :(
Even "Nuggie No Friends" has been seen sat near Snowy too!? who'd have thought!? and i think its the bright white he recognises with his old eyes :) :)
But as we enter the 4th month - it doesnt make me miss you less xx

Take Care of Smudge for our Purrs friend Becky xx her pain has made me realise that although my guilt of you going without even a sign, I thank everyday that you laid down to rest and never woke up again xx So keep him safe and watch over him while he waits (keep out of trouble too! ;) ) and i'll come for you when the time is right xx

So much has happened, we now have new housemates Peanut & baby Evie, who I know you would have kept in order - cos thats what you did best :evillaugh: I wanted them to have the love & place in our home I know you wouldnt of wanted to stay empty.
Poor Nuggie still misses you so much, I think he knew his life was quieter and you loved him so, making sure he was still treat like a kitten even at 9years old :Luv2: :Luv2:

Always wondering why, always wondering if i could of helped and always wondering why you had to be so independant :'( you left thursday and I never saw you again until Saturday :'( :'(

I thank my lucky stars, that no cruel or painful event took you - I thank my lucky stars you closed your eyes, only to wake at Rainbow Bridge, most of all I thank my lucky stars I got to know what happened. No spending a lifetime of wonder and hope and hurt. Although my heart aches, if ever a passing could be so peaceful this was it :hug: :hug:

I definitely think he sent along those kitties for me :) :) he made it so Peanuts and Evies paths crossed mine knowing i cant resist a cheeky face :) ;D and he'll be laughing at Nuggies awful attempt at keeping order :evillaugh:

He has been generous with the double rainbows and it warms the heart, as people will know when their sign also arrives :) :)

My OH suddenly thinks Rainbow photography is my new thing! lol he~~'d think~~ knows i'm mad :shify: lol

but whatever peoples beliefs, its those that get you through that count :hug: I always said that when i die if there is nothing, no other side and just the end, at least I died with knowing in my heart that those i loved and all my furrbabies will be there for me, cos if there is just the end i'd know no different than that smile at the end :hug: :hug:

Thanks ;D its one of my favourite photos of him and i used a phone app to get the surrounding clouds etc :) he actually had 5 spots on his back that were shaped like smiley face ;D

I had a session with an animal communicator after Chelsea went to the bridge (I'd never heard of it before and the whole concept helped ) which helped me make sense of it all. It's not for everyone but did help me.

Louise, I see a psychic lady every few years and she has always seen my babes that are at Rainbow Bridge. The last time I saw her was at the beginning of September and was the first time I'd seen her since losing Lily. I was really hoping that she would 'see' Lily and yes, my little girl made herself known. Although I had a few tears it was so reassuring to know that she was still with me, even though I can't see her :) :)

As you'll know, hes gotten poorly :'( our fat grumpy boy is skin & bone....booked in at the vets. You tell that boy the bridge dont want him yet, my first boys. You're already gone and he is all i have left of the life we had together :'(

Neither did i :'( being such a bundle of furr it was never obvious until he sat on my knee and i could feel his spine & shoulders blades etc (very prominant) :'( i cant feel ribs and he still has pot belly...but this is just filling me with dread on what it could be :-[ he has a vet appointment on friday so fingers crossed. He's eating and drinking so i'm hoping its something and nothing. Just so very sudden weight loss....it shocked me :'( I always give him a good feel over when hes feeling affectionate so i know its not been over a long period of time (he doesnt like me to groom him so i always check him for potential cotters) bless him :hug:
