Title: Rest in Peace Bacardi - such a shock

I let all the downstairs cats out as normal this morning and just 20 minuted later my neighbour called me out to Bacardi who was lifeless on her driveway.  Rushed him to the vets but he was already gone. :'(   No sign of what happened, maybe a blood clot seeing it was so sudden.


I can't believe he has gone :( , he was a feisty boy who was here from a kitten and re-homed and then found several years later as a stray and I could never trace his owner so he came back to live with us.


RIP my lovely boy.  You will always be remembered, especially as I am now off to pick up seven two week old kittens, four of which are tabbies just like you. :(

So sorry Lesley  :hug: Bacardi is at peace now. Afraid the shock will be with you for quite sometime but as you have already found out rescuers do not have the luxury of grieving especially when there are 7 little ones waiting. Good luck with the new arrivals hope they are easier than my holy terrors have been  :hug:

So sorry for your loss Lesley sometimes life is so unfair but he started life with you and came back to his Mum for his final years :hug: :hug:

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds as if he went very, very quickly when called and I really do think that is the best way for them though a terrible shock for you.

Oh no, what a shock - sorry to hear your news. I think it's harder when they go suddenly.
