I don't believe I just done that!..Got Daisy's tray on the work counter, got a clean bowl for her wet food, the half full bowl of dry kibbles was next to it...
I then put her wet food on top of her dry food!!..
I could see what I was doing but why did I do it??....
Why?.... :-[
-
Just sad and funny
Afraid I have put biscuits on top of wet food many times and like you , no excuse
My worst one which I hate is putting the wet food into a dirty dish, when the clean one is sitting there.......sigh

I made the mistake one night of setting my water glass on the side near Ambers biscuit bowl and imediately filled her dry biscuits with water

I will confess many years ago I had run out of milk and had visitors and used catmilk in their coffee
I have on occassion wormed the wrong black, tabby and tuxedo boys as most of ours are pairs and sometimes the wrong one gets it :-[
I took 1 girl and 4 boy ferals to the vet and came home with 4 girls and a boy :-[ they were unhandlable and we still have Sparkle formerly Spike, Schaille and the one girl our nortie tortie Xian ;D

I assume there was no cat swapping here, just one of those many sex things that confuse us all?
-
Sad to say they did look like boys but now they do look like girls :evillaugh:
I have taken the wrong cats to the vets to thats why we now have spreadsheets for them all for worming, injections, Program injections, same for the dogs to makes life a lot easier

Love this thread :evillaugh:
I actually did something yesterday that had me  for a split second...
I had just eaten a pain au chocolat but 'uncooked' as I have them from the packet rather than heating them up in the oven. I looked down after I had eaten and absentmindedly picked up a large blob of chocolate that had fallen off it. As it touched my tongue the horror hit me that it might not have been chocolate and what if it had been a 'cling on' that had fallen off :hairrasin: That split second seemed to last an eternity as my face crumpled up and spat out the offending 'chocolate' lump... thankkfully it was chocolate but I swear my heart stopped for a second :evillaugh:

Oh Helen

I left the house for work at Stupid O'Clock in the morning,on my way to the car I saw a black & white cat ahead of me,so thinking it was Daisy & she'd got out I called her..then ended up chasing her around for a bit before I realized it wasn't Daisy at all...she was upstairs in the front window looking at me chasing a cat around like an idiot! :-[
-
Oh gosh I did that a long while ago, was walking up the road and saw our Rosie (who was an indoor cat) walking across the road and I ran after her and picked her up and bundled her back home telling her off for escaping........and got indoors to find Rosie curled up as usual on my bed......
Took "her" back down the road to find "her" owner looking for HIM.... turns out he was a probably a close relative as we got them both from the same place. Thank the lord the owner was understanding otherwise I could have been done for catnapping.
I have often licked the cats' fork out of habit (and a very nasty habit it is too) when feeding my two and it does NOT taste good (especially since I am supposed to
be vegetarian).

Now who ate the cats food ;)
I'd been out the night before & was suffering quite badly with the mouth from hell & in need of a post hangover fry-up,so I had all the ingredients out for the fry,fed Daisy & put the fork down.
Now you know when you nibble on some of the stuff when you're cooking, well I decided to have a sausage,so picking up the fork,I stabbed it into the sausage, when I got tho the last bit on the fork,it tasted aweful...then I realize I'd used the same fork that I used for Daisy...

I regard this as stupidity but was totally deliberate!
My vet in London and his vet friends used to conduct experiments and one of them put cats ear mites in one ear and said he could feel them moving across his face to the other ear ..............shudder
He also told ne that AD diet was a nice pate on crackers

I had a friend (had is a long story) who used to 'share' cream cakes with her cats. She would let 3 cats lick the cream off and then eat the cake
