... but I'm going to ask anyway.

My landlady, after 3 years of allowing pets, has decided that they are unhygienic, which means I am now looking for a new home. :(

Does anyone know of any friendly flatshares in London for me and one well-behaved feline?

tut this is a bit un fair! does it say pets allowed in your contact? surely she cant change ur contract!

The contract says nothing at all about pets, but is coming up to renewal so I guess she can change it how she likes.

You should really get some legal advice on this. I'm pretty sure landlords can't start objecting to conditions that were previously acceptable.

This site allows you to search for flat-shares etc and one of the search criteria is 'pets allowed' http://www.spareroom.co.uk/

Liz, she already has housemates. BUT she might know of somewhere, definitely worth a try.
