Title: Masking smell
Post by: VoodooloopyLou on September 12, 2011, 03:34:33 AM
Ok, so my three new babies r confind to one bedroom and hall way they ave litter tray, changed daily, but there is a smell that I can't shift, u notice it as soon as u walk up stairs, it's even crept into our bedroom! I'm not sure if it's toilet smell or from the wet meat? My other two cats don't stink out the downstairs. I've got plugins and electronic sprays everywhere but it's not goin! Can't ave hall or there bedroom window open incAse they make a run for it! Does anyone ave any idea what the smell is or how to mask it! It's annoying hubby and I don't want it to make him think rescuing these beauty's was a bad idea! Please help x

I use many cans of green neutrodol, buy in £ shops.

Afraid Lupin stinks place out!

Hmmm - I use Neutradol too. I'm also a big fan of scented candles and joss sticks. (Out of the reach of cats, obviously!)

Could you shut them in the room while you open the hall window to air it and then vice versa to air the bedroom? I use oust spray if the boys have a particularly pongy poo and that seems to help!
