Title: Daisy's first night..
Post by: kerri86 on September 03, 2011, 21:56:44 PM
I see Daisy's introduced herself already!

It's her first night here tonight and she's been settling in here in the living room.
For overnight, am I best keeping her with me and taking her up with me. Leaving her in the living room with her litter tray, water bed etc, or sleep in the spare room with her?

I don't want to push Davey and Tinks out of my own room if I can help it lol x

I saw Daisy's pic on the other thread but knew I'd get told off for posting on the cats bit :evillaugh: I'm sure you know it but she is absolutely gorgeous :Luv:

If the others normally sleep in your room then I'd pop her in the spare room with her bed and toys so that Tinks and Davey don't feel left out. Hopefully before long they'll all be sleeping together :)

Thanks.
Do I sleep in my own bed with Davey and Tinks or sleep in spare room with Daisy?

Maybe you could sleep in the spare room just for tonight, Davey & Tinks will hopefully not notice anything is up as they can sleep in their normal places in your room and Daisy will have you there for reassurance :)

Like Helen I saw her photos on the cat bit as well. She is totally gorgeous, I hope you had a good night with her, and that your other babes are ok.

Thanks Nicky,

She was absolutely fab! I woke up this morning and she was flat out at the side of me on the pillow.
She's really settling now and getting more used to her new environment.

She wasn't using the litter tray yesterday and I was told she wasn't fully trained. I noticed she did a wee in the corner of the living room so I put the litter tray there and she's been using it ever since, which is fab!

She's just adorable! I just hope Davey and Tinks take to her.

xx

Thanks Susanne.
She's progressing very well. Still very unsure when I go near her to stroke her, I don't know if it's because she's not had much contact with humans, or if she's been mistreated. But I just need to give her lots of time and be patient!

She is a playful little thing though, as soon as the toys are out she lets her guard down and goes wild, which is so cute! And we've had no more accidents with litter tray. She's eating and drinking very well too, so all in all I'm really pleased with her! She's such a cutie! xx
