Hi everyone
Okay, so here's some background info before I begin.
Peanut has gone outside pretty much from when we first adopted her, and uses the Great Outdoors as her toilet.
Cooper, who has only been going outside for the last few months, has always used the litter tray (he would come in from playing to use the tray and then go back out )
Anyhoo, during the last few days, I haven't scooped any poop and there hasn't been a lot of wees. My first instinct was that he must be poorly, but he's eating, drinking, very playful and loving, he doesn't appear to be unwell at all!
So, the point I'm getting at is..........is it possible that all of a sudden, he's now using the Great Outdoors as his litter tray???? (please say yes........ :shy:)

yes :)

Really? You're not just humouring me?? :shify: :evillaugh:

We are slaves to 7. We have 4 litter trays (3 large and 1 jumbo). All kept clean. Only 1 uses the trays and that's coz he's locked in being only "wee" ;)
All the others were tray users at one point but quickly changed to using outdoor when they started going outside.
I am ignoring Ruby peeing on me work surface of course :shify:
Unless Cooper shows other signs of illness I wouldn't worry. I'd keep the trays though.... just in case

Cool, thanks! ;) ;D

It probably just took a while for him to feel confident enough outside to go there. I take it you've checked every nook and cranny indoors to make sure he's not chosen a new place to go? :evillaugh:
-
Oooh yes, I've checked. Mind you, I'd soon know about it cuz Coops does drop stinkers!! :tired: :evillaugh:
-
I vote 'yes' too :naughty:
I wish the boys would take a leaf out of Cooper & Peanut's book - Lu is partial to the odd outdoors wee but normally they come rushing back in to use the trays :innocent:
-
I have one of each, Algie hates using a litter tray especially for pooping and I often get looks of utter disgust from him as he is squatting in the litter tray if he needs to wee before he is allowed out in the morning  Noodle on the other hand comes trotting in from outside to use the tray
-
I say yes too ;D
Birmans..well mine, have odd ways of using the tray and Lupin puts his front paws outside and back ones on the edge of the tray :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
He has never been outside but also digs a hole first

Being the pround grit box slave to 28 of them from covered to open to high sided and with 5 different types of litter I can say keep them, I have several of the indoor/outdoor crew who quite happily play outside but need to come in and use the litter tray, I mean they are not short of flower beds or space as we have acres but feel the need for Mummy to know what they are up to

Our lot use the "Great outdoors" all through the nicer weather....that's how I know when the weather's on the turn. I start needing to clean the litter trays again! :evillaugh:
Soooo, another "yup" vote.
