Title: I love my cats but sometimes....
Post by: jezebel on August 06, 2011, 16:51:00 PM
...I could throttle them!

I have a friend coming to stay over tonight, so I pumped up our (brand new!) delux double airbed, put some bedding on it and smiled at Drum inspecting this new addtion to the spare room. And then watched in horror as she started clawing the bejesus out of it. :censored:

It's now patched up with duck tape, I only hope it holds tonight!

Don't think so, the bed had deflated a lot and to make matters worse, the pump I bought yesterday has stopped working!

One word - futon. ;) I realised long ago if I wanted anything for people to sleep on it couldn't be inflatable....my cats have always liked kneading before sleeping too.

Poor you!

No room for a futon, unfortunately.

:evillaugh: :evillaugh:  I shouldn't laugh but well.........

And talking of things we wouldn't want the neighbours to hear, we were enjoying some fruit yesterday, one of which we gave to Mini Mac as an experiment.   he loved it, bowling it all round the floor.  However,  I never thought I'd hear the immortal words wafting up the staircase as I was washing my hair:   "What's the matter Mac?  Have you lost your cherry.....?"      :-[ :evillaugh:

Bit pricey!

We don't have people staying over very often so it's not a problem really.

Yeah, that's my solution too Jezebel - don't have people to stay  :evillaugh:

Me either. I'm just a bit obsessive about being "organised." ;)

We have a couch that can be turned into a double bed. I know here also are chairs that become a single bed.
Only solution, really.....
Airbeds don't live long with my lot, either.....

And a futon can be rolled up and stashed away in the same space that will hold a delulxe airbed + pump, I guess.

Not really... the airbed folds up almost flat and the pump is a tiny, handheld thing. I could fit them both into a smallish cardboard box.

Sounds like you have the ones we had (note the past tense "had"  :evillaugh: - I was even craftier, because when I got rid, I gave them to the grandkids to use when kipping at their mates, so if they didn't look after them it could never be laid at my door....  :sneaky: )
