Hi can any one please tell me why do Nrala and Ozzy keep trying to go out as they have always been house cats, I could leave my windows and doors open and they would never go out, but now i find them sitting on the coal bunker and the wall outside, why, what can I do to stop them apart from keeping every thing closed or do i need to let them I am confused advice please

I dont know why, how old are they?
Is it safe for them out there?
I keep all the windows closed cos dont want mine skydiving, especially as I have an older kitten for last two days who would be out in a flash.
The alternatives are to get some window sheilding frames that allow the air in but prevent the cats escaping. or making them a safe enclosure outside or the ultimate, cat proofing the garden.
I hope they stay safe

They are 1 and 2 years, I live at the end of a county after the next 3 houses there is nothing but fields woods and walker but the other way at the end of a long street there is a busy road and if you walk up its a housing estate, Ozzy mother was ferral could this be why, they have never wanted to before, or is he just at that age now

I supect he is just that age and thinks outside is more exciting.
Its more normal for cats to go outside than stay inside all the time and some cats just cant cope staying inddors. like my semi feral Sasa.
It would probably be best if you could catproof or make tham an enclosure so they could be safe.
