Title: I'm sad !

I foster cats and kittens for a sanctuary near home and mostly it is a vey rewarding job ! I get to have all the fun of tiny kittens and none of the expence - like grandchildren ... I can give them back  ;)

One of the 'fosters' I have is Polly a beautifully black mummy and two kitties, Tom and Peppi. Peppi is a torie and her colouring is like mixed ground pepper (hence her name !) her brother was a tiny little chap, i mean TINY !! 8 weeks old and looked four !  Today I had to take the little man to the vert - he was struggling to breath and was really very poorly.  Sadly the vets put him to sleep a few hours ago because not only did he have a lung infection he also had an about face heart which was to big one side and way to small the other, he would have struggled to stay well and healthy as his little heart could work properly. 

The vets were great and very sympathetic.  Thank you to the vets ... I just needed to share as I am feeling a little sad right now  :'( Im going to go and hug Polly and Peppi and also Spark and her little one and then hug my seven (if I can find them all !)

that is sad but the thought of all the little ones you help on to new homes hopefully cheers you up a bit - love the sound of peppi, I am a torti fan!

He/she (not sure yet) is sooooo cute ! She is fluffy and has brown and beige and black and cream and a whitish paw and splodge on her nose !

I love my fosters all of them and wouldnt change anything - im just an emotional person and its sad when something goes wrong !! Off to hug them before i do some housework  :-:

Really sorry to hear this  :(  :hug:

I'm not involved in rescue myself but just from reading on here you can see how much heartache is involved  :hug:

RIP liitle Tom, safe and sound at the Bridge by now xx
