I hope it's ok to post this here, time is of the essence. :shy: I believe Ocado to be expensive for many human foods, but they do have a wide selection of pet foods/ treats - and we don't often see 50% off! Delivery appears to be from £1.50 providing you are willing to accept an off peak time (e.g. late night). Having signed up myself I suspect the MSE e-mail is incorrect, I think it's a minimum of 2000 sign ups for the voucher to come live (currently at 1500) not a maximum of but I can't be sure.

Ocado is on MySupermarket to see what they stock
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/shelves/Cat_Food_in_Ocado.html
You can go direct to Ocado to see if they deliver to your postcode
http://www.ocado.com/webshop/startWebshop.do
NOW EXPIRED
Update: The discount code has now been released and looks like the code is a generic one that anyone (new customers) can use.
Go here for the voucher code and to place your order at Ocado - expires 30th June

I already signed up, I was thinking how much Diet Coke I could get for £40 though rather than cat food :evillaugh:
Just went the crowdity site and it says "the deal is still on and you can still buy one - Customers bought: 9083 Customers needed: 2000". I think the normal website will be where you 'buy' discounts hence the references to 'bought' but this is completely free ;D
-
Signing up was a no brainer since there is no commitment at this stage. I was thinking of getting some Whiskas supermeat and Classic as it's so much cheaper than Bozita, but then I realised quite how many tins £40 worth is.
-
Seems like me and you are the only moneysavers FF :evillaugh:
I should be on commission as I made my Mum, sister and a few friends sign up too ;D
-
As long as someone benefited I am happy. ;)
-
It doesnt deliver near me -checked my brothers too -but not there either !
-
I signed up to, I am really trying to save money at the moment!
-
is it right that the voucher isn't out yet - sorry I'm new to all of this lol!

I got an email this morning from them, you click on the link in the email and it takes you to the Ocado site and the voucher code is there on the front page. I have a felling it's not a personalised voucher as the link was just ocado.com/crowdity
It expires 30th June so be quick!

I just ordered 126 cans of diet coke for £24.99 including delivery :evillaugh:
Delivery was 99p but as I spent less than £75 it increased to £2.99. Still a bargain though as the coke was on offer anyway and then I got the £20 off :naughty:
-
did mine too! couldn't get much cat food as it was sold out but did most of a weekly shop for basics! more things like this please, I have set myself a deadline of 1 year from now for paying off my mortgage!
-
You need to get yourself over to Money Saving Expert then Dawn! I've probably saved thousands over the years!
Also, have you heard of Quidco? That's a good a place to start as any - anytime you buy something online, whether it be flowers or car insurance you can click through Quidco and earn cashback.
Quidco just paid me £90 to switch my broadband to O2, £30 to switch my gas/elec to EDF (Scottish Power put prices the prices on the tariff I was on up by 60%, not the 19% that was in the news :hairrasin: )
-
FireFox - hope you don't mind but I've added an update to your first post as looks like the offer is still live and anyone can use the code by 30th June ;D

I have looked on it but found it a bit had to follow - suppose i'm just used to the layout here! will look into the quidco thing, I shop online a lot - the gas and electricity thing scares me but I know I probably should shop around
-
It's quite easy Dawn:
key in your postcode (top right) this registers you.
Then click on SHOP (top left)
Then in subject box or looking ofr box, whatever it's called key in cat food.
Sorted.
I got 8 boxes of Gourmet and 6 boxes of temptations. Spent just over £40 and got the £20 knocked off - don't forget to key inthe voucher code.
Be careful about P&P - I opted for £1.99 10.30 p.m. - 11.30 p.m. and it said only £1.99 on orders over £75 so I had to pay £3.99.
Thanks Jen and Helen.

The best offers get put into the MSE weekly e-mail, if at all possible you need to read and investigate any offers on the EWednesday morning, as some of the good stuff goes quickly. Sign up here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/
All the basics you can do from the articles on the main page or the stickies on each board. I just addressed one thing at a time - looked at what my big outgoings were (energy or food or cash machines) and worked on those one by one. Later on I got into costing up my meals with the Old Stylers or applying for free stuff using the Freebies board. Many of the boards are very friendly, a few are cliquey or dog eat dog, you soon learn which are which! Even if you address one thing a month you will have come a long way within a year. ;)

I have just used the voucher as well, thanks Fire Fox ;D
-
This offer expired today due to unprecedented demand apparently! Over 30,000 people signed up for it and the code was leaked early on HUKD (another great site for bargains Dawn!) too.
Glad I ordered when I did as my diet coke mountain needs replenishing! :naughty:
-
oh dear!!
well my big expenses are probably food, cats and car - although with the car I've definately gone as minimal as I can
will check out hukd now!
-
HUKD is a bit random, there's a lot of random/useless bargains on there but now and again decent bargains pop up. It's basically a forum where members post bargains/misprices they've found online or in stores. Logged in members can give the deal 'heat' so each post has a temperature so the 'hotter' the post the better the deal. Eg the hottest deal today is Sainsburys nappy sacks are apparently 4p :evillaugh:
I recently bought a 32" Sharp HD LCD TV that was posted on there from Tesco which was only £185 delivered  My sister got a decent spec Toshiba laptop that was posted on there and I've had lots of other little bits like toys/games for my nephew.
They also have a voucher code section for online discount codes.
-
lol yes I do come across a dukes of hazzard box set - I actually do use those nappy sacks for cat poo but have loads anyway - anyway it all helps, if I can shave about £50 a month off the food bill that would be great
-
It must be us Purrs lot buying too much - it happened with the Zooplus too didn't it? :naughty:
