I'm going for less than 12 hours because cats do like to christen new carpets in that way!  although I think my 2 did wait a couple of days when I last had new carpets.

It must have been less than 12 hours, surely? If it was longer than that then I would consider getting them checked over at the vets as that doesn't sound right  :evillaugh:

Oh now look at all ye of little faith...or is it ye of great understanding  :evillaugh:  the first vomit noise woke me up at 430am the night after they were fitted, but it milly with a furball on the windowsill. First one has indeed happened on the carpet. It was Geoffrey, and it a was full on regurgitated meal  and it happened after...?  :shify:

Carpets finished being laid: 1pm Thursday

First cat vomit (x2), 8am Friday  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Fortunately, we deliberately bought cat vomit coloured carpet

I spent my day of last week running a carpet shampoo machine over my spare bedroom. Interestingly enough the large spill of black ink from a cracked inkjet cartridge cleaned up much more easily than the cat puke stain from dried food!

I think its the food that makes the stain, the pate that Ducha eats seems to stain immediately!

It makes me wonder what on earth they put in the food to make it stain so much!

Ahh bless.lol

Poppy sicked the other day, I only saw it because she was sat staring at it.(it was 5 am)!

Pete cleaned it up and now the cats keep skirting around where it was. Hard to imagine, but 2 paws on the floor and 2 on the bottom of the fire place. Daft cats.

I'm hoping for wood floors when we move, or maybe cat sick colour carpet in the bedroom!!
