That I have to announce, that KumfyKatz Rescue is now FULL, (even the waiting list is now closed), and cannot take any more cats in (except an "urgent case" as 1 emergency space is always available).

And if anyone has any more ideas of how to free up some spaces, we're all ears... :'(

That's a shame :(  but if you're full you're full.   I hope things pick up and you can rehome some to free up space.

Yes, unfortunately kitten season is in full swing, so folks would rather go for a kitten who comes with nothing except possibly a few lurgies, that an adult cat who comes with everything! And.. which is housetrained, fully assessed, neutered etc.
even our own kittens are late this year.

Oh it is so sad that you dont have any more room, lets hope you can rehouse them soon to and to give hope to all those unwanted cats out there

its the same at lost cats Brighton our cattery is full and the phones keep ringing how can you say no to a poor little stray or old cat that has been dumped on the streets, and i have got 10 indoors at the moment, cant get a chair to sit on and most of the bed gets taken of a night but we all get there in the end, Homeing is really bad at the moment we have only homed 5 cats this month and fosterd out two,and I am getting so tired lately it must be old age catching up on me, but all the little Babes out there need us and we can only do our best     Ron :hug:
