I just went to give the cats their last feed and knelt on Cassies tail! She obviously thinks I did it on purpose cos she hisses at me every time I go near her :-[
-
Just give her a bit of time and she will forgive you
-
Hmm me finks a nice treat in in order for bad mum to give Cassie :sneaky: ;) :evillaugh:
-
Little sod still hasn't forgiven me, although she has stopped hissing.
-
Some cats take longer than others :shify: :shify:
Sasa still blames me for something that happened 6 years ago!
-
Oh shame on you! I do that sort of thing all the time with Jaffa but fortunately he forgives me quickly as he's not the sort to bear a grudge :)
-
Isn't it dreadful though when they give you that look that says "you hurt me on purpose and you're a mean mum & I hate you"?
My cat Cashie was having a mad five minutes dashing around and managed to run into my foot when I was walking into the kitchen, unfortunately I was wearing my walking boots which are quite hefty. He was terrified of me for days and ran off whevever he saw me and it was really heartbreaking.
I don't get how he couldn't understand that He ran into ME, clearly he thought I had kicked him on purpose and was going to do it again as soon as I got the opportunity.
Cats aren't that bright sometimes.
She'll forgive you eventually but the next "bad" thing you do will bring it all to the surface again and will be thrown back at you.
They keep lists.

lol! Jaffa ran into my foot the other day. He went under the bed which he rarely does as I was sat on the bed. I simply put my foot on the floor to stand up just as he emerged! He gave me "that" look - you know the one! Fortunately a cuddle a some dreamies were enough to earn his forgiveness.
-
Dreamies are magic aren't they? Izzy would forgive me anything for some of the cheesy ones. Sadly Cashie isn't treat orientated, more of a cuddles lad.
Cash has many incidents on his list of cruelties I have inflicted on him. I attempted to drown him by emptying the watering can over him and to decapitate him with
a silk cushion.
I was also complicit in his getting shut in a cupboard and locked in the loft and engineered the collapse of a curtain rail he was hanging off in pursuit of a
fly.
On each occasion he sulked for at least two days and gave me many dark reproachful looks from under the bed. "Under the bed" is clearly the favourite haunt of our
ill-used and abused little darlings!
-
I know, they really do NOT understand they bring it upon themselves. Xena gets underfoot quite a bit and, as a result, she does get trodden on and kicked once in a while. She has a fairly short memory, thank goodness, but the look she will give me.........

Cassie doesn't stand a chance of that, we only have divan beds, I don't think she squishes that thin! She came and sat on the desk whilst I was typing today, so I think I am forgiven, or maybe she can only hold one grudge at a time. she may tell the other kitties about it later. ;)
-
Oh the other cats will all already know, will have discussed it at length and probably got advice from their union about how to proceed with legal action.
The fact that Cassie deigned to sit on your desk is a good sign however, it means that she is still prepared to accept you as a member of her staff....
but you are on a verbal warning.
